 We are one of the world’s leading developers of high-performance CAD/CAM solutions—and have been for more than 30 years! Our innovative CAD/CAM technologies deliver significantly higher performance in the programming process and set international standards in machining.

 We are looking to expand our development team at our Headquarter in Wessling near Munich, with a focus on C++-based algorithm development and the further development of our software architecture.

 Your main tasks

 
 Development of Innovative Algorithms: 
Design, development, and optimization of mathematical algorithms in C++ for generating highly precise and efficient toolpaths

 Further Development of Our Software Architecture: 
Shared responsibility for the further development of our software architecture to improve scalability

 Interdisciplinary collaboration: 
Close and agile collaboration with your own team—comprising mathematicians, physicists, and mechanical engineers—as well as with related departments, particularly Product Management and Innovation

 Helping shape future technologies: 
Contributing your own ideas, experiences, and perspectives to proactively participate in the development of future hyperMILL® modules

 
 Your profile

 
 Successful completion of a degree program: 
Degree in mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical or scientific field

 Technical expertise: 
Comprehensive expertise in development with C++ and an understanding of modern software architecture; experience with C to understand legacy code is a plus

 Experience in technical software development: 
Practical experience in developing technical software solutions, ideally in the field of CAD/CAM systems, CNC technologies, or industrial control systems

 Interest in mathematical and software architecture challenges: 
Enjoyment of solving mathematical problems—for example, in the fields of differential geometry or computer geometry—as well as further developing our software architecture

 Language skills: 
Very good English skills for communication within our international team; knowledge of German is a plus
