Position Overview RecruitGo is seeking an Estimating Assistant to support the Senior Estimator by preparing accurate and timely quotations for customers in the construction and fit-out industry. This role is responsible for producing live and tender quotations, preparing schedules, sourcing products, and responding to customer enquiries while maintaining a maximum 12-hour turnaround time. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and a customer-focused approach. Responsibilities Previous experience in architectural ironmongery or a related construction/building products industry.
 Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
 Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
 Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
 Strong organizational and time management skills.
 Product sourcing and negotiation skills are advantageous.
 Customer service-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset. 
 Qualifications Prepare and send accurate live and tender quotations within required turnaround times.
 Create and maintain schedules using the company's scheduling system.
 Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests for additional information.
 Source products and coordinate sample requests for customers.
 Assist with negotiations to achieve competitive pricing where appropriate.
 Ensure quotations are accurate, complete, and aligned with customer requirements.
 Work closely with the Senior Estimator and internal teams to deliver excellent customer service.
 Maintain accurate records of quotations, schedules, and customer communications.
