Position Summar y:A Loan Processor at Granite Bank would be responsible for managing and processing loan applications from initiation to closing. This includes verifying applicant information, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and facilitating communication between borrowers, loan officers, and underwriter s. Key Responsibiliti es:Support complex administrative, customer support and operational processes on home loan applications, including owning communication with customers and third parties to obtain missing information and documentati on.Deliver an outstanding customer service experience through regularly updating customers for a consistent, predictable experien ce.Perform transaction review of home loan applicatio ns.Review documentation and obtain missing informati on.Prepare loans for underwriting review and ensure all compliance and underwriting guidelines are m et.Ensure work performed is consistent with published policies and procedur es.Prioritize and manage assigned pipeline to meet anticipated closing date and performance metrics, including meeting communication touchpoints, scheduled closing dates, and internal service level agreemen ts.Act as an escalation point for Loan Officers to resolve issues and provide guidance and traini ng.Collaborate and consult with peers, partners and managers to resolve issues and achieve go als Experie nce:5+ years of Loan Processing experience in a mortgage sett ing.Experience with proactive problem solving and resolving customer complai nts.Experience independently driving workload and meeting set expectati ons. Sk ills:Exposure to Encompass sy stem.Ability to gather, organize, and interpret data.Ability to navigate multiple computer screens while working on the p hone.Demonstrated comfort and success in voice-to-voice customer ser vice.Strong attention to detail and accuracy sk ills.Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication sk ills.
